Ball State Bowling Team Seniors Banquet

The Ball State Bowling team held its 1st Annual Seniors Banquet on March 31, 2012.  The team said goodbye and best wishes to graduating seniors, Morgan Dreshar, Amber Msick and Zach Mace.   We thank them for the leadership, guidance and competitive spirit during thier time with the team.  We wish each of them the best as they prepare for thier future.

Lady Cardinals Finished 8th

  The Lady Cardinals season ended in Smyrna, with an 8th place finish in the ITC Sectional.  Even though the season is over, it was an overall good season for the lady Cardinals, as they finished on a strong note and developed into a strong and compettive team.

Lady Cardinals Head to Intercollegiate Sectionals

 The Ball State Lady Cardinals are headed to Symrna, TN to compete in the USBC Intercollegiate Team Championship Sectional Qualifiers, for chance to compete for the National Championship.  

Only the top 64 teams are selected to compete in 4 sectional events around the country.  Compeeting with the Lady Cardinals, are Pikeville University, McKendree University, Florida State University, Wright State University, Notre Dame College, Wisconsin-Whitewater, Martin Methodist University, Ursuline College, Morehead State University, Florida Univirsity, Grand View College, St Catherine College, Ohio State University, Univisity of Louisville and Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

 Only the top 4 team of each of the sectional event will advance to the National Championship event.

2011 / 2012 Final Season Rankings

Ball State Women's Bowling team once again ended this in the top 30 in power rankings, while Men's team finished in the Top 85 in the men's power rankings.  While neither team were ranked in the National Coaches poll, the Women's team did recieve votes for the Top 20.

 Overall a good season for both teams. 

!!! Fundraiser Update !!!

The Ball State Bowing Team hosted the 1st Annual Bowl for Kids fundraiser to benefit the Peyton Manning Childrens Hospital.  Their efforts raised over $1400.00 for the hospital.  Great job team!!!

We would also like to send out a special thanks to Munsee Lanes for all their help in making this event a success.  All of those who sponsored this event we offer a big Thank You!!!  The event would not have been the success without your help. 

 Thank you Charlie Cardinal for making an appearance - it was a ton of fun.

Big Thanks to all of you who bought tickets and came out and had some fun for a really good cause.

Work now begins for the 2nd Annual Bowl for Kids - see you in about a year!!!!

Team Tryouts

 The Ball State Bowling Team will be holding it's tryouts for the upoming season on Aug. 31st and Sept. 2nd at 6:30pm at Muncie Lanes.   To tryout for the team each athlete must complete both days of the tryouts, and pay a $25.00 (non-refundable) tryout fee.  Tryout's are expected to last approximatley 2 hours per session.

Ball State Bowling Cardinals to Help Children Fight Cancer

The Ball State Bowling Team in conjunction with Munsee Lanes will be hosting the 1st Annual
"Bowling for Kids" fundraiser to benefit the Peyton Manning Childrens Hosiptal at St. Vincent.

The event will be held on August 20, 2011 at Munsee Lanes, (located t 601 East 26th Street in Muncie).

The day will be full of bowling, food and fun.  Pre-event tickets are available.
